Thank you again haertig. I will probably try the Xfce one as I prefer a more utilitarian GUI which usually allow for more control. That's one my biggest pet peeves about most software is that they try to make it too "user friendly" and it just ends up being too rigid and/or tries to do too much for you and screws everything up (I'm looking at you MS Word).

Also, if anyone is looking for a new case, Microcenter has these $100 cases on clearance for $40 after instant and mail-in rebates. Plus it's blue:)

I think you are going to be really happy with that case. Look how easy it is to get to the drive bays (and how many there are!) And you can install enough cooling fans in there to turn the thing into a hovercraft. You will thank yourself over and over when you are working inside that case. With the rebate, the price is quite a steal. I'd buy one myself, if I needed another case at the moment.

Do you have a local MicroCenter store where you live? Sounds like it from your above posts. I went down to the one here (for the first time) when I recently upgraded my system. The store is massive. The employees were numerous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everything you could ever want you could find there. Not to mention the people. There must have been hundreds and hundreds of customers in there and I hit the store right when it opened (10am) on a Friday morning. It was a 30 minute drive each way for me, but well worth the trip.

Yeah, I really like the look of the case and it seems to have tons of room. I'm going to start assembling this afternoon and try to get everything finished before the weekend. Want to finish this week before spring break is over. There is a Microcenter near me, about 20 mins. Of course everything is about 20 mins away here in STL for some reason. Doesn't matter if you're going 2 miles or 20. I was also really happy with the store. I printed off a shopping cart list of the parts I wanted and the guy in the build your own section found all the parts in no time. Then I browsed a little bit to check on in store deals and found the case and also got the 500W power supply, which was the same price as the 400W after mail in rebate. A pleasant experience.
