BTTV Capture Card: Configuring what inputs it has?!

Hi, I have a fairly complicated setup and need some help.

I have a capture card that was automatically detected during my Fedora Core 2 install. It is NOT a TV tuner. It has 4 composite inputs and an audio input (but I don't care about the audio input).

All the different tuner software I try comes up with TV input (tuner), composite-1, svideo, composite-3 instead of 4 composites. I can switch inputs in a program like tvtime and can see all 4 video sources. however on the svideo (really composite) it is black and white instead of color probably because the bttv driver is treating that input differently because it thinks it is svideo. and on the "tv" input (which is really a composite) i can change channels but it is all the same video on every channel. : )

i just want to figure out how to change the configuration so that the card has FOUR composite inputs, no tuner or svideo, so that the driver will treat the input signals correctly.

I don't think there are any cards in the list that have 4 composites, so I can't just change the card number right? Isn't there some other way to do the configuration other than hoping your card is in the list and picking it out? The driver clearly works with my card because i can see all 4 video signals connected as i change through the is just that the input types are wrong.

(i have a couple other little issues to figure out too, but lets do one thing at a time)
