mm1 LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2004 Location: Vienna Distribution: archlinux Posts: 4 Rep:	brother HL-5040 Hi. I've Problems installing the Brother HL-5040 Printer under Slackware 9.1. I've installed: cups, foomatic-db-current, foomatic-db-engine, foomativ-filters, foomatic-filters-ppd and espgs. When I try to print a testpage the Status LED on the printer changes the color only for one second, but it doesn't print. Has anyone successfully installed the HL-5040 under Slackware? Thanks Michael
