Broadcom Wireless Card in my HP DV5000 notebook and Fedora Core 4 dont mix.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERF**** WINDOWS ON THIS MOTHERF***** LAPTOP!
....so I installed Fedora Core 4 on my HP dv5000 notebook. Everything appears to be going well (except for the stupid lack of mp3 support). Theres just one problem; the wireless card has decided that its not going to work. I think the problem is just that I dont have the right driver for it. Any ideas? Here's the output of the /sbin/lspci command. Yes........
Either rebuild the kernel with 16 stack instead of the default (bad) 4k stack or find one on the Internet. Places to visit; http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ http://atrpms.net/dist/fc4/ Check the Similar Threads (scroll down a bit). |
