broadcom bcm4400 ERROR
 
i downloaded the driver for the broadcom bcm4400 ethernet card... but when I try to build the kernel, or make the driver.. i get this error:

Makefile:18: *** Linux kernel source tree not found. Stop

I'm running RedHat 9. PLEASE help! :Pengy:

Installing the kernel source? Comes with
MDK...

Ummm ... you installed it. You have the
CD's ... find the software installation bit
of your distro (Redhat package manager?)
and select add software, and then search
for kernel source. Then install it.

I am having the same trouble, but I HAVE installed the kernel source (~190MB) from the Redhat 9 CD using the Package Management tool. How come the drivers won't build correctly? I really really appreciate your help (I'm using kernel 2.4-20.9). Thanks!
