Broadcom bcm43xx, ndiswrapper, and mac spoofing

Mkay, so I've got a HP Pavillion dv6000 with a broadcom bcm4311. I've got it running with ndiswrapper, and I need help getting mac spoofing to work.
ifconfig wlan0 down
ifconfig wlan0 hw ether XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
ifconfig wlan0 up
I've done that a million times, with no success.

I'm running SuSE 10.2 with NetworkManager, everything was configured through yast2

really need to get mac spoofing to work.

You might have a problem there. I tried setting up an Ethernet bridge between a wired and wireless connection but couldn't get it to work. I later found out that some (well, most) wireless NIC's can't MAC spoof properly. Its a hardware issue so unless you get another adapter that can MAC spoof - I think your out of luck
