BroadCom 10/100 onboard

Hey, I have an a7v8x card with broadcom onboard lan and when I try installing the files from the /src directory it creates, I get a shitload of errors

Could this be due to the fact that my kernel is called linux-2.4.20 and no vmlinuz?

Is there something in the kernel that should be modulated/compiled other than just network support?

PS: Need more info, say so.

We need to see the errors, otherwise we'd just be guessing.
