What do you mean exactly by dual GPU?
For gaming laptops, it is often the case that the screen is hard-wired through the graphics card (in this case I presume it would be the Nvidia GPU).
In that case, the issue is probably because the driver is not working well. The version is often not compatible (even if Nvidia's website lists it for your device).
nvautoinstaller will install the latest version by default. To be honest, different versions of the driver work variably with different cards.
I would suggest you uninstall the driver installed by nvautoinstaller, look for your graphic card's model in the driver search engine on the Nvidia website, and try different versions of the driver starting with the latest compatible version listed.
I simply hope Fedora will have different versions available from their repo. If not, maybe you will need to find a way to compile custom rpm packages.
