Boot Windows XP software raid with Grub

I'm running suse linux 10.1 from a separate SATA harddisk. I have windows installed using software raid1 on two other SATA drives. When I launch grub inside yast, I receive this message:

WARNING: The system has at least one hard disk with a RAID configuration presented by the BIOS as RAID that is in fact a software RAID. The following disks were detected as part of such a RAID:
/dev/sda /dev/sdb
The linux kernel 2.4 supported some of these systems.. but the linux kernel 2.6 does not...

I installed grub in the boot sector of the linux harddrive and linux boots fine. But grub recognized the windows raid disks as two separate windows installations. My question is: If I just boot one of these from grub, will windows automatically turn on software RAID? Or do I risk messing up my windows RAID array?

Thanks J
