Boot sector not recognized on USB HDD
This is my first post, I have used the search function, found a few things, but not what I was looking for.

Now, I have a Dell inspiron 6400/e1505, with a 90G HD, 1G ram, XP Media center (Internal HDD). Now I got a WD Passport 250G HDD. I installed Centos 5 (DVD edtition) Using GRUB Boot Loader, Installed to Dev/Sda ( this is the RAW device name for my USB drive) Problem is, I go and boot to usb (BIOS is set up to do this first) and it says "Boot sector on USB device not found" I have NO ideas why this is. Because when I go into "linux rescue" I have a very healthy boot sector... Guess, it just can't be found.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Hey, I found a work around, if you press f12 to go into the boot menu it and force it to boot from "USB" it works...
