Boot RH AS 2.1 Update 6 from SAN

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me, I'm pretty new on Linux. I am trying to boot an IBM xSeries 206m server with a QLA2340 FC HBA from a Hitachi AMS500 Storage Array.

I have already installed the OS into the SAN and configure the HBA but when the server boots, it tries to boot from SAN but it finally boots from the internal disk, no message appears. What could be happening??

Thanks in advance.

Luis Sakihama
