Boot Failure, After ram upgrade, FC3
I upgraded my labtop to 1.2 GB of ram, from 512 ,and now linux will not boot.
Windows works fine, but not linux,
The machine is a emachines, amd64, 3200+ , I have a 1gb swap space that is in a 1gb partition. FC3_x64
It gets to "Initializing Hardware storage " and doesn't go anywhere. The hardrive access blinks, and the wireless network light blinks very fast in an irratic pattern. Normally the wireless light would come on at this point. I am thinking I need to install a new kernel or something to handle 1GB dimm. It is a crucial 1GB sodimm. I also thought of trying to disable the swap space, but I don't think the swap space is intialized at the this point.
