Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Bluetooth without serial port

Hi, my machine is running Kali Linux 2019.5. I want to connect by bluetooth headset to my machine but it asks for serial port. When I was not running Linux on this machine, I didn't require any serial port or extra hardware to connect my headset. There are no solutions for this problem on youtube too.

You are running Kali...why??
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ad-4175614092/

Kali is for experienced Linux users, and even then only for security and pentesting. Their own website even tells you they suggest running it in a 'live' or VM instance, and *NOT* to use it for a 'daily driver'. A lot of things (like wifi, etc.) are disabled or severely limited, since it's meant for security purposes. Bluetooth among them.

The solution to your problem is simple; don't use Kali. Use Mint or Ubuntu, and chances are things will 'just work'.

YouTube is the LAST place you should look for any sort of technical advice.
