I'm looking to buy a set of bluetooth headphones when Slackware 14.2 gets released.
I assume that they'll work via Bluez 5 and Pulseaudio. What should I look for when I'm deciding which one to buy, and is there one that this forum recommends in particular?
The maximum I'm willing to spend on them is $200 CDN. Any more, and they'll cost more than my wired pair while no-doubt not sounding as good.
I have no idea how well they might work with GNU/Linux. I have found Bluetooth to be the single most annoying thing to set up properly under GNU/Linux and have simply given up!
yes, that E40BT is relatively good, but obviously it depends on your needs. The bluetooth driver can be an issue, I had difficulties too, but pulseaudio is not really related I think.
( Anyway... missed your last post had:) I go cheep and they last me as long as when I did not. Consumers "reviews" well help (i.e: highest ratings & most reviewers) and I'd suggest over the ears, any wraparound ones I've had were quite uncomfortable especially for longer use...
