Bluetooth doesnt connect to modem

hi
i ve got a big problem. after switching from suse to ubuntu (dapper) i dont manage to get my bluetooth working -> i cant go online with my linux and thats very bad - have to write this in windows
actually i installed everything what i found in synaptec with "fritz" "bluetooth" or "capi" (not everything...that what i needed there were other things too that had nothing to do with isdn bluetooth) and this was very hard. when i visited a friend i could go online over lan with my linux but only with a 56k modem and i just downloaded the 686 kernel... but when i was at home i could get the link to the bluetooth files switched to windows and then back to linux and then installed them
before doing this (i thought i had all drivers/progs installed because synaptace didnt show me bluetooth etc file i didnt install) the terminal showed me this error when i tried to do
ciptool connect...
Can't connect L2CAP socket: Connection refused
so.. now with all the other tools it shows me this
Can't connect L2CAP socket: Invalid Argument
i really dont know what to do
i would be glad if someone could help me
