Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Bluetooith mouse problem

Hi there,

I am running Ubuntu with Gnome-shell on a Thinkpad notebook and I got two problems, one is the bluetooth mouse does not auto connect, the other is low battery warning.

The mouse does not connect automatically when boot up, and there is no option for mouse on the bluetooth menu at the taskbar, until I turn off and on the bluetooth.
The other problem is I always got low battery warning even I changed the battery on the mouse, the warning share the same notebook battery icon with an exclamation mark at the taskbar confused me a lot, this is just cosmetic but better be fixed, any comment ?

Is your Thinkpad a Lenovo Thinkpad? If so what model #?

What version of Ubuntu are you running?
Code:
cat /etc/os-release
Mouse and setting for it should be in your Settings or Advanced Settings try to make adjustments there.

I'm not good with laptop battery issues. Best to wait for a member that is more experienced with that.
