Blitzz BWU613SB USB wifi driver not working
I'm still very much a newbie, I have a USB wireless kit and I cannot get it working under my Fedora 2 installation, it works in Windoze.
the driver cd included a linux driver but its very very vaguely documented I tried to install it. it says to check /var/log/messages and there is an entry at the bottom stating that a high speed USB device was found and assigned to 5. I would like to run kismet, I installed it but I dont have the wireless card assigned to an eth* so I cant use it yet. my eth0 is my ethernet. oh, its a Celeron 1.8Ghz, 256Mb, 20GbHD Toshiba Laptop. thanks in advance |
I forgot to add that the chipset in the actual USB device os AT76C505.
I was part of the Blitzz BWK802 Netwave kit , heres their website http://www.iblitzz.com/ |
There is a linux driver on http://www.iblitzz.com/downloads/dlpage.asp?MN=BWU613B ; although I did not try it out yet myself.
