Black Screen Mac Mini
I just got a new mac mini with intel hd 4000 graphics and I want to dual boot arch (which I ran before on my pc) and os x. However, whenever I try to start a linux distro, most of the time I just get a black screen when it tries to switch to the console....my monitor is vga so Im using a mini display to vga adaptor. I have managed to get an ubuntu live image to start but even it will give me trouble on occasion.
SOLVED: After cycling through resolutions on OS X, I noticed that the cable was a little loose...works perfectly now!
