Hi, I replaced my graphics card and my Redhat 6.0 box getting a black screen during boot. Please help me. Thanks
And aside from what TenTenths said, you need to read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. Just saying "graphics card" tells us NOTHING. Providing details is the only way we're going to be able to help you. What kind of system? Graphics card? What DID you have in there, and why did you replace it???
Also, you do realize that RHEL 6 is a commercial, PAY-FOR distro..you are paying for it (RIGHT?), and as such you can call Red Hat for assistance. And RHEL 6.0 is VERY old, and unsupported https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/updates/errata
Why are you using RHEL?? That's typically for servers that don't need/have graphics cards. If you're not paying for RHEL, then load CentOS instead...if you have a current graphics card, load the latest CentOS (7.4), which will probably support it just fine. But ONLY if you need a server-class distro. Otherwise, Fedora, openSUSE, or Debian would be far better choices for a consumer system.
Dear TenTenths, Can you help me step by step? Thanks
Sorry, but really??? How is *ANYONE* going to help you 'step by step', when you STILL don't answer any of the questions you were asked??? And just ignoring folks who ask you things to try to help you is plain rude.
You were given advice; use CentOS or pay for RHEL. And use the LATEST version of CentOS, since (as said) if you have a newer video card, RHEL 6 probably won't support it, because:
You're not PAYING for RHEL, so haven't gotten the updates
