Best wifi card

well, i got into linux not to long ago, and right now i am using a linksys wmp54g v.4 with ndiswrapper 1.10 i am using fedora core 4, 2.6.15-1.1831_FC4smp. I am happy with ndiswrapper for regular web browsing, but i need to be able to use tools like kismet etc. and i cant do that with ndis wrapper, so i am looking for a new wifi pci card.

i have been looking around the fourms and the hcl list, and tother places on the web, but i am not sure what card to get. the only thing is that it needs to run native linux drivers. i am just looking for any recomendations you guys have for a good card.

linksys wpc55ag with madwifi drivers works well. Any other card that uses the atheos chipset using madwifi.

linksys wpc11 v2 (B only) prism2 drivers

Netgear version 1 wg511, not version 2 if made in china, version 2 is fine if made in taiwan. Unkown version 3. A few post here on the subject. They use the prism54 module.

Just get one that uses the atheos chip.

Avoid anything with the broadcom (sp?) chip.
