Best way to share peripherals and sound between windows and linux computer?
I used to dual-boot windows to play games I couldn't play on WINE(but dread having to actually USE the windows environment,) but one day I picked up a laptop on clearance and have barely used it at all.
I decided to hook up the laptop to my monitors and install Linux on it, and just windows on my desktop so I can flick between them on my monitor without having to reboot at all. This is great because I can save time from having to reboot, easily access my SUSE(which I love), and I can just put my power-hungry desktop to sleep anytime I'm not playing games to save on power. But I have an issue of having to replug my USB keyboard/mouse and my audio(non-USB) every time I switch, I'm probably going to buy hardware switches for them but before I spend money and because it would still be a little annoying having to flick so many switches every time I want to switch between them, is there a good way to share USB peripherals and audio between Linux and Windows across multiple computers? I apologize if this doesn't belong here. :) |
use a KVM Switch (keyboard video monitor)
