Best external Cdr Dvd combo for linux

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what the best external combo drive for a linux laptop would be, as far as support is concerened.

i use a iomega cd/rw drive it works supurb on my notebook now although it was a right pain trying to configure it and get it to work.
