Best camera phone for USB downloading files to Linux?

I am looking to buy a camera phone. It is important that I can download pictures to my Linux system easily. Camera phones typically offer a USB data cable and Microsoft drivers to transfer files. Is there any camera phone out there that I can just mount the camera phone and see the files on Linux? Linux friendly camera phones anybody?

Hi, I use the microSD flash card from my phone to get the photos off.

And for changing mp3's.

I gave up on the dodgy cables that my phone required (at $67 au)

even the Headphones suffer from the dodgy cable connection.

and this also stopped the nokia software from removing my contacts (just some of them)

and wallpaper when using it with winblows.

I have a nokia 6234, with 1gig of Micro sd.

cheers, Glenn
