Ok Im a newbie but I have installed printers in linux before, it usually isnt any trouble, I usually deal with samsungs(which go really well with linux) but now Im having trouble with a Benq. I tried printconf from the cups server but told me it could do nothing and gave me this:

<commandset>EQCPL2,BCD</commandset>

</usb>

then I tried www.linuxprinting.org and the printer is not even on the database(actually there are no benq printers on the database at all) so any suggestions about where to find the drivers?

I did a search here and only found benq media drives and scanners.

i find that the HP series modules work for most printers most of the time. Something along a LaserJet 5L is my first stop for a laser.

Hmmm non of the HP drivers worked but Ill start trying with others.
