Benchmark program to test my CPU and video card?


Hello
I was looking for some benchmark program to test my CPU and video card. In synaptic there isnot one.
Can you recomend me someone with GUI?

Debian lenny 2.6.26

Phoronix test suite for the video anyhow.

Never bothered much with cpu tests - Compile a kernel with
time make -j10 :-D

That was enough for me - I am not going to swap cpus if I don't think they are fast enough.

A command...

Do you want to stress or to measure stress? You can measure with the command "top"

Well, I want to check the video card and compare video drivers in Linux.
So, I need some program or command to check perfomance.
Can you recomaned me someone?

I tried Phoronix in Debian squeeze and when I installed it, it doesnot run fine.
So, I cannot use it.

If you want the results, and can't take 'no' for an answer, make it work.
