Unhappy belkin bluetooth dongle doesn't work

hi, i'm trying to install Belkin usb bluetooth adapter model F8T012 under gentoo, it is listed in lsusb, emerged bluez (all packages suggested in gentoo wiki bluetooth howto), did modprobe bluetooth, did /etc/init.d/bluetotth start, but when i'm trying to start the device i get this:
Code:
hciconfig hci0 up
Can't init device hci0: Input/output error (5)

Did you edit your hcid.conf file as suggested? Did you also emerge the bluez-firmware? (It may be required to get Broadcomm based bluetooth dongles to work)

I've got an F8T013 working in Gentoo (2.6.17), so there's a good chance that your dongle is supported too.

well this is strange, but it seems it conflicts wth some other device connected to the same usb hub...

if bluetooth dongle is first device which i connect do hub, everything works as it should (more or less)...

*EDIT*
after a bit of connecting & disconnecting, i have a feeling that conflicting device is exteranl dvd-rw drive, i read something about it somewhere that bluetooth module needs to be loaded before usbfs or something like that...

hope it helps also somebody else
