belkin bluetooth
I'm trying to install my belkin f8t012 belkin bluetooth adapter.
I've installed bluez packages, enabled bluetooth in yast but gnome-bluetooth-manager just pops up error box 'no device found on system'. hcitool dev returns nothing in usb view, device is listed Is anyone using this device successfully? I found this http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel/422425 but I don't know what it means. Will I have to patch the kernel to get this device working? Distro suse 10.1 The donglr uses EDR protocall. Is this the problem? update: Error while loading /etc/init.d/bluetooth 126 (undefined error) swapped dongle for cable and wireless mini. It works on ubuntu but the above error stops it working on suse |
Got it, I'd made /etc/init.d/bluetooth un-executable
