Bay Networks Remote Access Concentrator
I apologize in advance, but I am trying hard to find answers.
I recently came across a Bay Networks Remote Access Concentrator, after weeks of googling, I have a name and #, Versalar 8000 RAC, Mf# CU1004E32.
I vaguely know what this thing does, but have no software with which to manage it. Apparently it has a GUI for both NT and Unix, I assume I can use the Unix Software on RED HAT 8.0---
So I guess my question(s) are directed at Industry linux users, ISP and telecom etc. I would like to know how to get ahold of the software, and then how to setup the device under linux, I understand that the RAC would allow 48 simultaneous dialup connections to my server, how exactly I don't know. I would love to know, so I can find out what hardware I am missing to make it possible. Has anyone ever used a RAC for work for play or whatever, I would really appreciate any info, help, suggestions or advice.
I ultimately would like to have a data server at my residence providing remote users via dialup access to the resources I have available.
Thankyou for your time.
