Automatically "force load " modules of PCtel modem on redhat


Hi guys,
I have redhat 8 machine, & pctel internal modem , the modem works only if we force load the module by insmod -f pctel & insmod -f ptserial.. is there any way to forceload the modules at startup by modifying modules.conf ????

if modprobe does not work then I would put the insmod commands in a file

rc.modem or something like that and start it from rc.local

It worked.. i put the line insmod -sfq pctel......... into rc.local and everything works fine
