automatic shutdown in Mandrake 9.2
I've got following problem. It concerns automatic shutdown in Mandrake 9.2. There are problems with
cutting off the power. It seems as if power from hard drives was turned off. But I am left with final screen. When I press ESC the last sentence is 'Power down' and that's it. What can be done about it?. The problem appears only sometimes. At times computer shuts off without a problem. Has anyone had such problem before?.
Thanks for help.

it seems that power and mem. issue, exp:when you keep the PC on for long time sure uses more CPU and memory, before you turn off,try to kill applications manually and give sometime to kill the applications and after says power down you must hear the sound and then turn off it.I suggest ,don't interrupt while it is halting the system or you may lose data after reboot and while checking the system errors
