automate updfstab during mount
 

I am using updfstab to eleviate the whole multiple USB/SCSI sda*/sdb* device mapping issue in FC2. What is the best way to automate updfstab when mounting a USB device? My updfstab.conf.default file contains the name of my USB flash-pen drive and camera. I stick the device into the computer, it recognizes it, but before I can mount the device I have to type updfstab at the prompt to make updfstab update my fstab file. Can I simply write a script and put a symlink to it on my desktop? Thanks.

Any thoughts?
 

Does anyone know why updfstab is not updating my fstab file automatically when plugging in the device? Is it supposed to do this? Thanks.
