Audio and Video Out

I'm looking for an idiot proof program to help me route audio and video out the back of my laptop and into my tv

The video card is a NVIDIA Geforce 2 GO and the docking station is equiped with the red/white/yellow cable plugs

I'm using Fedora Core 3

If your TV has an AUX input it will have the same RCA red/white/yellow plugs, yellow being the Video-input. Just make sure those are outputs on your laptop. If your TV does not then use a VCR input.

Also I don't know if there are any switching needed on the card. I may just continuous output like a video camera and would not need any turning off or on. But it's easy to test. Just hook it up.

You do not need a program. To make it easy, forget the docking station because it has hardware that may not work with Linux. Download nVidia drivers and install it. Next configure twinview to output to tv. Next hook up the connections up. The audio from the notebook computer just needs 3.5 mm stereo connector to two male phono plugs. Many notebook computers come with S-Video so you need a S-Video to composite (phono) converter. A VCR or an A/V modular will work if the TV does not have audio and video phono inputs.
