audigy 2 strange speakers sound

hi there,

ive just installed mdk 9.2 and everything went ok.

i have an audigy 2 player sound card and sound blaster inspire 6.1 sound speakers.

when listening to music or watching a movie the sound is ok, the only problem is that when i insert a cd ( any cd, data, music, dvd, etc) the speakers make a strange sound.
and when im browsing the cd it continues to make that sound. thats very annoying, even more when im watching a dvd for example.

does anyone here had the some problem? solutions?

thanks.

It seems like a cdrom/power source grounding problem. Try detaching the cdrom from the case.
