attansic L1 eth card and realtek 8139 don't work in the same time

Hello,I have a fc 8 64bit box and I want to create a gateway on it so i can share a internet connection with my home network.I have 2 ethernet cards:1 onboard Attansic L1 Gbit and 1 Realtek 8139 on pci.The problem is that both cards won't work in the same time.I mean by that the fact that i have to pull out my Realtek for the attansic l1 to work, but when i plug it back in and try to activate the attansic l1 it says that "atl1 device does not seem to be present, delayng initialization".I am preety much of a noob in this kind of problem, please help.I tred to compile the attansic driver but not succesfull. The atansic card is not detected in lspci ,plese help

Have you tried placing the realtek card in different slots?
I just assume the attanis L1 when by itself was seen and module loaded?

Post info from the following setup with the Realtek card NOT INSTALLED.
Post output of the command /sbin/lspci -v
Post output of the command /sbin/lsmod
Post output of the command ls /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg*
Post contents of the file /etc/modprobe.conf

Now insert the Realtek and post the exact same info listed above.
Post any exact errors seen. You may be able to pull that from the command ' dmesg '
