atl1e not working properly in ubuntu 11.04 64 bit
i installed ubuntu 11.04 64 bit. there's a problem connecting to the net, it actually does, but connects disconnects every few second. my system is:

02:00.0 "Ethernet controller" "Atheros Communications" "AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 Gigabit or Fast Ethernet" -rb0 "ASUSTeK Computer Inc." "P5KPL-CM Motherboard"
02:00.0 0200: 1969:1026 (rev b0)
The module driving ethernet is rtl1e. it is already loaded in lsmod. I tried removing it from there, the network stops! so, this one is controlling the device. interestingly, system can ping loopback without hesitation in between, so, this shows that my NIC is fine and working.

How can I fix the bug for ethernet then? it connects for a few seconds then stops recursively.

what is your opinion?

Ubuntu 11.04 is an unsupported version. I would recommend to a more recent and supported version, probably the problem will already be fixed in newer drivers, also.
