ati X600XT suse 9.3 amd 64

Hi i am new to linux and i am trying for some days to install ati drivers so i can have 3d acceleration!!I find several instructions and i follow all the steps!!fglrxinfo gives me that

display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: RADEON X600/X550 Series Generic
OpenGL version string: 1.3.5461 (X4.3.0-8.19.10)

so it seems that everything is ok but i dont have 3d acceleration!!If anyone can help me...thanks in advance!!

Did you use the drivers from
