Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Question ATI TV Wonder, sound problem switching to composite input

I have an ATI TV-Wonder and the video / sound work perfectly when the input mode is set to "Television". The problem is when I switch the input mode to "Composite", I see the composite video but the sound is still coming from whatever TV channel I was just watching. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm running Ubuntu's Dapper distro with a 2.6.15-26-686 kernel. I remember this working way back when I was running Mandrake 7.x-9.x and the card works properly in Windows. Another post I ran across says that this worked with an earlier version of Knoppix (Knoppix 3.3), too.
