ATI Rage Mobility M1 TV OUT

Hallo,

First of all, I am new to this site and would like to complement everybody for the huge amount of knowlegde that can be found here.

Since I signed up earlier today I have had a long look and browse to find solutions for my problem, everything I have tried has failed.

Install ATI drivers from ATI stopped me getting into KDE, atitvout just gives loads of stripes on my TV.

Has anybody got experience with the ATI TVOUT and has had problems getting it working?

I've had some success with atitvout. I hardly ever use it but I did get it to work. The first thing, and the part that stumped me for a while, is to have the s-video cable connected to the tv, and have tv on before you boot the computer. Then run atitvout.
