ATI Rage II Hardware Acceleration

Anybody know if there is an accelerated glx driver available for the ATI Rage II? I looked at the DRI driver but this page says it doesn't support the Rage II because it doesn't have a "triangle setup engine" whatever that is.

btw i'm running Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog. ( server) The package xlibmesa-dri doesn't even include the mach64 drivers so i could try them. If i cannot get anything else to work, i will try downloading the source from the DRI page and compiling it.
