Howdy folks,
I'm a bit of a linux newbie, so please bare with me.
I have an AMD64 compaq laptop with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200m on board. I installed the ati drivers via yum (kmod-fglrx or whatever it is, and the xorg drivers to go with it, both 64bit and 32bit.) and my OpenGL stuff appears to be working (glxinfo is good, direct rendering is enabled, fglrxinfo states I'm using the ATI drives, fgl_glxgears runs smoothly, though I suspect a bit slow) BUT games like bzflag, or anything that uses d3d/opengl over wine (i.e. Age of empires 2!!!) shoots back with the following error:
