ATI Radeon 9800pro DUAL HEAD mode NOT working!

Hi all.

This has been an issue for me for a couple of months now...
I'm running SuSE 9.1, KDE 3.2.1 and XFree86.
I have a Samsung TFT Syncmaster 172X connected via DVI and a TV connected via my S-Video (with an adapter to composite) exit on my Ati Radeon 9800pro. I have the latest ATI linux driver installed. Now to my problem: When I run "clone" mode everything works ok, I have picture on both TFT and TV, but I have to set the resolution to 1024x768 to get the TV to work.

So, a friend of mine who runs Gentoo and Xorg on an Nvidia card told me to use "Dual head" mode instead, that looks great i thought.

But as soon as I make the XF86config-4 with fglrxconfig and choose "Dual head" mode and starts X, everything crashes, locks up, no picture of any of my screens.
I have tried to copy other peoples XF86configs and stuff, tried to change the BusID options, everything that I can come up with.

And since ATI has had the "Dual head" mode supported in linux for a long time know I dont think it is the drivers fault...

So what can be the problem?

I'm battling this too... I've tried a multitude of configurations, but have noticed that single monitor mode works fine if I disconnect monitor #2 before running startx.
