ati radeon 9700 pro drivers

i am running SuSE 10.1 and i can not seem to install the ati radeon 9700 pro 3d drivers. when i install them, i still cant use them. i dont have the kernel-source package but im getting that now so that might help.
the output of fglrxinfo is:

(i changed the website to mesa3d dot org because the forums dont like me)

If you installed the newest ATI drivers from their site, they don't work with Radeons any more (or so I've heard) -- only with the newer series. So you'd need to get an older fglrx driver package or just stick with Mesa drivers..I have the same problem with Radeon 9200, fglrx doesn't work anymore.

Read the docs on ATI's site, though, I might be wrong since I haven't made this news sure. Just heard it, and since the drivers don't work on this card anymore (they used to, the older ones), it sounds real enough for me.
