ATI Radeon 9200

I currently installed Slackware 10.0. So far everything has been smooth except getting my graphics card, and my sound card (another issue for later) to work. As the title indicates I am using an ATI Radeon 9200. I've searched through the forums and found one post where someone said:

"NOTE: at this time there are no official XFree86 4.4 drivers available, however the drivers for XFree86 4.3 have been reported to work with 4.4"

I was curious if any of you have had any success with this. Everything I have found through Google has been quite disappointing.

There are two drivers available for the 9200. The ati proprietary drivers, which work with Xfree86 4.1,4.2,4.3 (4.4 isn't on there site). It is also supported by the dri project. I could be wrong but i believe Utah gfx also has drivers for the 9200.
