ATI Radeon 9000

I have one laptop with a ATI Radeon 9000 running Debian Sid with XFree86 4.2.

I installed the official drivers from ATI web and everything seems to be OK..., but the 3D graphic acceleration. If I run games like Tuxracer, the graphics play very slow.

Any idea?.

Thanks.

What kernel are you runniing?

If it is anything in the 2.4.21 or greater, Then I recommend you goto kernel 2.4.22 with the patch 2.4.23-pre4 or greater. I am currently run 2.4.23-pre4 and tuxracer runs smooth.

Also see about upgraded your X to 4.3+. This might help some. Didn't really apply to me.

Have fun.
