Ok, my goal is 3d support. I have SuSe Linux 10.1 My Yast says i have two drivers installed (probably came with XFree) one of them has 3d support, and hte other one doesn't.. so how cna I use the one that has 3d support?
Any help appreciated
The driver used by x is determined in its device section in you /etc/X11/xorg.conf or your /etc/X11/XF86Config depending on what version of X you have. Try checking that.
I checked the saxsave, which should be the one that xorg is using... (im using xorg apparently) the driver name is radeon, but the funny thing is that yast detected two drivers in x11, both named radeon... xD
