ATI Drivers on Fed Core 5 on laptop


Hello all I just recently installed Fed 5 on my laptop along with good ole' Xp Prof. I am obviously a newb with Linux and I am trying to figure out how to install my ATI graphics drivers on Linux. I came to a few hopeful tutorials but ended in failure. Anyhelp and I would be grateful.

my laptop is ABS mayhem G3 amd 64
