ATI Drivers again...

I recently installed an extra RAM chip and on the next boot my graphics drivers did not work.
They are the ATI drivers, installed from the package generation for SuSe 10

I tried reinstalling the package as well as a generated on from the newest drivers, neither would install in KPackage. This is the text I got:

Quote:
<glrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.24.8-1.i386.rpm';echo RESULT=$?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are these the proprietary drivers? Why? Gatos' are more capable.

Are you running Xorg? v7.0 uses Gatos drivers, and enables acceleration automatically. I'm using these though, and trying to get fast framerate but don't fully understand it. Have a question posted here on it.

Yes these are the proprietary drivers I am working with.

One thing that is causing me trouble is I can't figure out how to uninstall the drivers. They are protected in the package manager. I realy don't want to have to reinstall Suse.

You should be able to uninstall by right clicking on the padlock icon next to the package.
