ATI driver problems


ok i read all the post about how to install ati 9700 drivers but i still get no 3d

I run slackware9
ati 9700 pro
amdxp 2200+

here is the error i get on wolf et

ive been trying almost none stop for 3 days or so cant get it so if any 1 has any help or answers ,oh yeah i allso did et +set r_allowSoftwareGL 1 i get like 1fps no 3d acel sucks
