ATI 9800 or Geforce 5900?

Ok, gonna go out and get a new video carcd in the next few days and was wondering which one i should get for my linux box. I have an AtI now and its just a 8500. Starting to lean towards Nvidia especially if you are using linux. My unreal 2004 demo plays fine on my ati 8500 but Americas Army wont play i get an error that say 'Xlib Sundry something'. Must be the driver right since unreal 2004 demo plays perfectly. Anyways for my linux machine should i get an ati 9800 or a nvidia 5900? Just looking for some feedback on how wonderful each card works for them or how one card completely sucks for them etc.

I'm an ATI fan, but I would suggest NVidia for your linux machine. ATI's driver support is not nearly as good as NVidia's. Go with the 5900 and have less problems.
