ATI 9000 Mobility

Hi there!

I have a Amilo A, AMD3000+ and 512MB RAM, with an ATI 9000 Mobility ... and I installed the actual drivers from ATI's website without any problems... and I thought I set it up properly with the configuration tool...

But now I made a first try. I installed HL - CS with cedega. Install was no problem ... hl, update, cs, podbot ... tata... there we are... I chose OpenGL 800x600 in Videomodes. But it is painfully slow! Unplayable!

I did this before on my desktop PC, AMD 1500+, NVidia GeForce MX 440... it was running like hell! Wow.. was really surprised.

So, I think I will have to tweak the setting for ATI drivers, right? But I have no idea where to start ... or can I forget about that, because ATI-Drivers suck so much, they can't even run such a old game?

Does someone have some more experience than me with that?

Thanks for any help, Sascha
